SFE Engineering successfully completed a Local Law 11 (FISP) inspection and façade repair project for the LIC Plaza Hotel in Long Island City, NY. Our team conducted a thorough hands-on inspection of the building’s exterior envelope in compliance with NYC DOB Cycle 9 requirements, identifying necessary repairs to address SWARMP conditions. We prepared and filed the FISP report, developed a detailed remediation plan, and coordinated with contractors to complete the work efficiently while minimizing disruption to hotel operations. The project ensured full compliance with Local Law 11 and reinforced the building’s long-term safety and structural integrity.
