SFE Engineering successfully completed a blower door test and Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) project at the Athena residential tower located at 27-20 42nd Road in Long Island City, NY. As part of our comprehensive building performance services, we conducted a rigorous blower door test to measure air infiltration and ensure compliance with NYC energy code standards. Our certified technicians also performed full TAB services to optimize the HVAC system’s airflow, pressure, and temperature distribution throughout the high-rise. These efforts improved indoor air quality, reduced energy waste, and supported the building’s LEED certification goals.
