SFE Engineering provided Local Law 97 and Local Law 88 compliance services for the mixed-use building at 126 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. To support Local Law 97 compliance, our team conducted a detailed energy analysis using ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager and developed a customized carbon reduction roadmap to help the building meet NYC’s greenhouse gas emissions limits. For Local Law 88, we performed a comprehensive lighting assessment of common areas and evaluated the feasibility of tenant submetering to meet energy code requirements. All documentation was submitted through DOB NOW to ensure full compliance ahead of city deadlines.
